  • Active Page URL: When you activate specific functions within the Extension (such as checking backlinks, traffic, domain age, theme detection, indexed pages, or archive lookup), the Extension accesses the URL of the web page you are currently viewing. This access is temporary and occurs only when you interact with the Extension.
  • Google Search Page Content: When you use the keyword extraction feature on a Google Search results page, the Extension reads publicly available content (e.g., “People also ask” suggestions) directly from the page.
  • User Preferences: Your preference for the number of search results per page is saved using Chrome’s built-in sync storage (chrome.storage.sync).

We do not collect or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, location data, or authentication credentials.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used strictly to operate and enhance the Extension’s functionality:

  • To Perform SEO Checks: The active page URL is used solely to initiate checks with third-party services.
  • To Extract Keywords: Content from Google Search pages is read to display keyword suggestions inside the Extension.
  • To Customize Search Experience: Your saved preference for search results per page modifies your Google Search experience accordingly.

We do not use collected information for user tracking, advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functions of the Extension.

4. Information Sharing and Third Parties

To enable certain features, the Extension interacts with external services:

  • URL Forwarding: When you use specific features, the URL you are viewing is automatically opened in a new tab and directed to third-party services including:
    • Ahrefs (for backlink and traffic checks)
    • WhatIsMyDNS (for domain age checks)
    • WPThemeDetector (for WordPress theme checks)
    • Archive.org (Wayback Machine)
    • Google Search (for indexed pages checks)

This forwarding only happens when you click the respective button inside the Extension popup.

  • No Data Selling: We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information (URLs, content snippets, or preferences) to outside parties.
  • Third-Party Privacy Policies: We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before using features that interact with them.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • User Preferences: Preferences (such as results per page) are stored securely using Chrome’s synchronized storage and are accessible only by the Extension.
  • Temporary Data: URLs and page content accessed are processed locally or forwarded in real-time without persistent storage by the Extension.

While we implement commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not store any Personal Data (like your name, email, or location), traditional data access, correction, or deletion rights do not directly apply.
However, if you wish to remove any saved preferences, you can reset or uninstall the Extension at any time.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete it.
